About Cuihua

Welcome to my blog! My name is Cuihua (ts’way-hwa) Shen and I am a PhD candidate at Annenberg School for Communication, University of Southern California. I am interested in social networks, online communities, the Open Source movement, video games, online gaming, and other general topics about the Net, the gadgets, and the virtual lives.

I was born in a beautiful Chinese city called Suzhou, and am living in dusty downtown Los Angeles. In my (non-existent) spare time I enjoy reading fictions and Chinese poetry, watching movies, doing all kinds of sports, trying new restaurants and cooking at home.
